Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his government has been able to achieve major milestones in a short span in his second term because of its clear policy and right intentions.
In an exclusive interview to a news agency, Prime Minister said the government has set an unprecedented pace within just the first few days as a result of ‘Spasht Neeti, Sahi Disha (clear policy, right intentions).
Prime Minister said from children’s safety to Chandrayaan-2, from action against corruption to freeing Muslim women from the scourge of Triple Talaq, from Kashmir to Kisan, the government has shown what it can achieve with a strong mandate of the people. Mr Modi said, the government has taken a head-start in tackling the most pressing issue of our times with the formation of Jal Shakti Ministry. Prime Minister said, the government has taken up the issue in a mission mode and integrated approach to improve water supply and augment water conservation.
Mr Modi said, those opposing the decision on Jammu and Kashmir are usual vested interest groups, political dynasties and terror sympathisers. Prime Minister said, people of India, in respective of political preference, have supported the steps taken in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Mr Modi said, certain provision of Article 370 and 35A actually harmed India. He said, only a handful of families and a separatist capitalised on these provisions.
