Google Play was facing issues since the evening of June 1 where multiple users across the globe reported facing difficulties in accessing the app store. However, the issue has been solved and the Android app store is back online.
The Goole Play went down from 6:00 pm. It affected only a limited number of users and the down reports went down by 10:00 pm.
We tried accessing the Play Store during the down period on our devices, two of which were successfully able to browse and download apps, however, two other devices were facing an error.
Users took to Twitter posting screenshots of their Google Play Store app not working. India was only seeing minor outages, which were taking place around New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc. This crash of the Google Play Store’s service came a few months after the company’s e-mail website Gmail and Google Drive faced global service outages.
