Hundreds of far-right ‘Pro Chemnitz’ movement supporters marched through the Saxon city on Friday, protesting against the government’s asylum policies.
The activists carried a banner which read “We are the people” and dozens of German flags, while at the same time chanting against Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The protest concluded peacefully, according to the police.
