Apart from this, officials of Spice Jet and IndiGo in domestic airlines have also started negotiations for the flight. A fortnight before getting the license, the airport director had sent an invitation letter to the airlines for the flight, which has started receiving positive results. The companies will now plan flight operations after surveying the airport status, current resources, number of passengers as per flight etc. through the survey.
Soon foreign aircraft will land
On all these points, Airport Director AK Dwivedi said on Wednesday that Kushinagar Airport is very suitable for the passengers of Bettiah, Champaran, Bagaha, Siwan, Gopalganj and Chhapra in Bihar and Deoria, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Ballia in UP. Travelers from the Gulf and Buddhist countries were also waiting for a long flight. He said that everything will be organized within a time period. There will be domestic and international flights.
