UAE : The authorities have arrived at a decision regarding the first flight service from UAE to India on May 7. The first services will be from Abu Dhabi to Kochi and from Dubai to Kozhikode. Pregnant women, senior citizens, people who want to return for emergency needs and those with medical conditions will be given priority. Only those who have registered themselves online will be given the chance to board the flights.
Embassy authorities informed that the tickets will be given by the Air India Express offices based on the list handed over by the High Commissioner’s office. These tickets will not be available online or via travel agencies. Meanwhile, the average rate of ticket from Abu Dhabi to Kochi is 13,000. Authorities have said that COVID-19 tests will be done on the passengers after confirmation is issued on the travel.
