Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that the path to a developed India passes through the farmer’s field. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the institutions working in the field of agriculture and agricultural students to contribute to bringing change and prosperity to the lives of farmers. Vice President Mr Dhankhar was addressing the interactive program of students and professors at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh yesterday. He said that efforts should be such that farmers do not remain only crop producers, but they become agri-preneurs. He called upon agricultural students to become managers of change in the agricultural sector by using technology and research.
Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Union Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Arvind Kumar Shukla were also present in the program.
