Director Animal Husbandry, Dr. Tahir Hussain Beigh today flagged off first batch of 60 candidates for training at Bhatinda (Punjab) under newly launched programme ‘Maitri’.Chief Animal Husbandry Officers of different districts, Animal Husbandry Officers besides other concerned officials were present on the occasion. The Maitri scheme is aimed at to strengthen the AI facilities along with improving other first aid related services in rural areas besides encouraging unemployed youth for adopting self income generating avenues in Animal Husbandry sector.
