Delhi Police Commissioner reviews security measures ahead of Republic Day, Assembly polls

In view of Republic Day celebrations and upcoming assembly elections, Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik has held meetings with senior officers and emphasised on anti-terror measures, crime prevention and security arrangements in the national capital.

Mr Patnaik also directed personnel to be utmost and take preventive action keeping in view of anti-terror measures like tenant verification, border checking, the security of vital installations, malls and markets, patrolling in heavy footfall areas.

Delhi Police Commissioner has emphasised on the need for the impartial and professional conduct of all ranks of police personnel, action against illicit liquor and firearms.
