Bharatiya Janata Party today attacked the Congress party saying that the Congress was not concerned about country’s integrity and safety of nation during its tenure.
Referring to Congress leader Manish Tewari’s latest book on the national security situation of the country, National Spokesman of BJP Gaurav Bhatia said, Manish Tewari has admitted that Congress Government had put national security at stake. Manish Tewari, who was a Minister during the Congress regime, has questioned the United Progressive Alliance Government’s decisions after the Mumbai terror attack in his book.
Terming the Congress party useless, Mr. Bhatia said, it would be appropriate to call it a confession of the failure of the Congress. He asked Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to break their silence on this matter. He questioned, why the security forces were not given permission at that time to retaliate in an appropriate manner.
