The Uttar Pradesh government is working on the concept of one district one medical college and very soon Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the nine medical colleges in the state which are now complete. State today also achieved another milestone and administered the maximum number of doses of COVID vaccine in the country.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today directed officials to complete all works related to the nine medical colleges which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These colleges are in Mirzapur, Gazipur, Devariya, Hardoi, Pratapgarh, Etah, Fatehpur, Siddharth Nagar and Jaunpur districts. The Chief Minister said that his government is dedicated to the establishment of one medical college in each district of state.
Currently work on 59 medical colleges is going on and very soon medical colleges will be established in the remaining 16 districts of state on PPP model. The Chief Minister also proposes to reward those districts where no case of COVID infection will come for one week. In Last 24 hours only 112 new cases were found in the state and not a single new case was found in 33 districts. Meanwhile more than 3.58 crore doses of covid vaccine have been administered in the state till date.
