Mumbai: The Mumbai division of Directorarte of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) raided a cargo courier company at Chira Bazar in Kalbadevi on Sunday and seized cigarettes of foreign origin worth Rs 1.01 crore. According to police sources, acting on specific information, the DRI officers searched the premises of cargo courier company at Chira Bazar Mumbai.
Upon raiding the place, they found 60 cartons containing ciggarettes of foreign brands like Benson & Hedges, Marlboro, 555, Paris, etc, worth Rs 1.01 crore were. Owner of cargo company, Bipin Singh, was arrested and produced before a court, which remanded him in judicial custody till June 25.
