Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi K Palaniswami released a statement today ordering three months moratorium on cooperative and industrial loan EMI’s. Relief for the crop, housing, fishing, textile and industrial loans EMI’s have been extended to 30th June. The deadline for Property & Water tax too had been pushed back to 30th June of this year. The CM of Tamil Nadu appealed to landlord to accept rent remunerations for the months of March and April two months later ie June. A 200 crore COVID Relief & Development Scheme will be launched shortly to address the working capital crunch in the SME sectors.
