Centre nods Punjab to re schedule wheat procurement period during Rabi Marketing Season

Centre has given nod to Punjab to re schedule wheat procurement period during Rabi Marketing Season 2021-22, due to late maturity of crop and surge in Covid-19 cases in the state.

Punjab had requested for rescheduling the wheat procurement period from 10th April to 31st May in place of 1st April to 25th May.
