The CBSE has dropped the controversial comprehension from its class 10 English board exam paper and has decided to award full marks to the students for this passage. Following the criticism, the board has set up an expert committee to thoroughly review and strengthen the question paper setting processes, to avoid such occurrences in the future. In a statement, CBSE said, it is committed to equity and excellence in education and promotes inclusiveness and gender sensitivity.
