केरल में भारी बारिश से 2 लोग की मौत, 7 मछुवारे हैं लापता, भारी नुकसान की जताई जा रही है आशंका, असम और बिहार में नदियों का जलस्तर घटने से बाढ़ से लोगों को मिली कुछ राहत। बचाव और राहत कार्य जारी केरल में पिछले कुछ दिनों से हो रही भारी बारिश के चलते कई जिलों में रेड और ओरेंज एलर्ट जारी किए गए है, इडुक्की, कासरगौड़, कोज़ीकोड, कन्नूर और एर्नाकुलम जिलो में भारी बारिश हो रही है, तटीय क्षेत्र बुरी तरह प्रभावित है और ज़बरदस्त बारिश के कारण समुद्र का कटाव हो रहा है। तिरुवनंतपुरम और कोल्लम जिलो में मछली पकड़ने गए सात मछुआरों के लापता होने की खबर है । उनके लिए तलाशी अभियान जारी है बारिश से रेल यतायात भी प्रभावित हुआ है । लगातार बारिश से चलते इडुक्की जिले के कालरकुट्टी बांध का एक गेट खोल दिया गया है बांध से पानी के छोड़े जाने के कारण केरल राज्य आपदा प्रबन्धन प्राधिकरण ने लोगों को चेतावनी दी है कि वे अपनी सुरक्षा का ध्यान रखते हुए एहतियात बरतें।

मोतिहारी – अमलेखगंज पैट्रोलियम पाइपलाइन अपने व्यवसायिक इस्तेमाल के लिए हुई तैयार,भारत और नेपाल के बीच बनी इस पाइपलाइन से नेपाल तक पैट्रोलियम पदार्थों को पर्यावरण हितैषी और कम लागत में पहुंचाना हुआ आसान भारत और नेपाल के बीच ऐतिहासिक मोतिहारी-अमलेखगंज पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों को पहुंचाने की पाइप लाइन तैयार हो गई है। इंडिय़न आयल कारपोरेशन ने पाइप लाइन के हस्तांतरण का काम पूरा कर लिया है। ये पाइपलाइन 69 किलोमीटर लंबी है और बिहार के मोतिहारी से नेपाल के आमलेखगंज तक बनाई गई है,उम्मीद जताई जा रही है कि इस पाइपलाइन का उद्धाटन प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी नेपाल के प्रधानमंत्री केपी शर्मा ओली के साथ मिलकर करेंगे।
