Campaigning intensifies for second, third phase of Assembly elections in Jharkhand

Campaigning has intensified for Jharkhand assembly elections in the second and third phase.

Twenty constituencies will go to the polls in the second phase on the 7th of this month. Polling for seventeen constituencies spread over eight districts will be held in the third phase on 12th of this month.

Star campaigners and stalwarts of several parties addressed rallies in support of their candidates.  

AIR Correspondent reports, working President of BJP JP Nadda said that Raghubar Das led government has given corruption-free and clean government setting the state on the path of development.

Senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Hemant Soren accused BJP pursuing on communal agenda for political gain. All Jharkhand Students Union AJSU party Chief Sudesh Mahato criticised dynastic parties which have not worked for the welfare of tribal people of the state.

Jharkhand Vikas Morcha President Babulal Marandi, state incharge of Congress RPN Singh,  CPM leader Sitaram Yechury and leaders of the RJD and LJP also held public meetings to woo voters.
