Union Cabinet has cleared the Limited Liability Partnership, Amendment Bill, 2021. Briefing reporters in New Delhi after the cabinet meeting, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said a lot of changes are being made in Companies Act, decriminalizing many sections and improving Ease of Doing Business for companies. She informed that as per the amendment the number of compoundable offence will be reduced from 22 to seven. The Minister said, the bill will be tabled in Parliament.
