BSF apprehends Pakistani intruder near Amritsar Border, recovers Rs 330 Pakistani currency

Border Security Force (BSF) has apprehended a Pakistani intruder in the border area of Amritsar in Punjab, last evening. The troops observed a suspected movement of a person who crossed the International Border (IB) and started approaching the border security fence. In a swift response, the troops challenged him to stop and apprehended him.

BSF sources said the intruder revealed his identity as a Pakistani national. Upon searching, Rupees 330 in Pakistani Currency were recovered from his possession. After initial questioning by the BSF and sister agencies, the Pakistani intruder was handed over to the local Police for further investigation and to know about his motive for crossing the IB.
