Bihar: Dry run to be conducted on February 27 and 28 for third phase of COVID-19 vaccination

In Bihar, dry run will be conducted on February 27 and 28 for the third phase of vaccination. Health Minister Mangal Pandey said from 1st of March people above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with comorbidities will be vaccinated at government and private vaccination centres. The vaccine will be free at the government centres.
Meanwhile, a total of 60 thousand 418 healthcare workers took the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine during the past 24 hours. So far,  6 lakh  418 beneficiaries have been inoculated with vaccine doses since the start of vaccination drive in the state.

Two lakh 60 thousand 310 patients have recovered from the COVID-19 infection in state so far. COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 99.22 percent in Bihar.

The number of active cases is continuously declining. Currently, only 508 patients are receiving treatment at various hospitals. No positive case has been reported from 21 districts.
