Saudi
Arabia and Bahrain have launched two joint naval exercises, Bridge-20 and
Waves-4, in the Arabian Gulf to strengthen operational coordination as part of
their efforts to protect maritime navigation as reported by Arab News.
The exercises included fighting in built-up areas,
protecting convoys, setting up security cordons, storming coastal targets,
reconnaissance missions, search and rescue operations, inspecting suspicious
vessels, countering drone and speedboat attacks, and clearing an offshore oil
platform from a hostile group.
