The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Hmood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Director-General of Civil Defence Colonel Ali Mohammed Al Houti and the Security Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Riyadh, Brigadier Dr. Mubarak bin Abdullah bin Huwail Al Marri, attended the graduation ceremony of the foundation course of the Bahraini Saudi Search and Rescue Team.
The Bahraini Ambassador delivered a speech in which he affirmed the deep brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields, especially in the field of civil defense affairs, noting the keenness of the two brotherly countries to develop their relations.
He also expressed his pride towards the constructive cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of civil defense, wishing the graduates success.
It is worth noting that the 33 graduates were trained during the four-week course to acquire practical and technical knowledge and skills that would enable them to work in a disaster environment anywhere in accordance with the criteria and requirements issued by the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG), both practical and theoretical, and draw plans to achieve the goal of obtaining the international classification through a set of objectives, as reported by the Bahrain News Agency.
