Ayodhya case: Hearing adjourned and SC finalised January 29 as the next date of hearing.

Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi will constitute a fresh five-judge bench to hear the politically sensitive case of Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land title dispute in Ayodhya was adjourned and Supreme Court has now finalised January 29 as the next date of hearing.

Immediately after the hearing commenced, Lalit opted out of the hearing after senior advocate Rajeev Dhavan pointed out that he had appeared for Kalyan Singh in a related matter.

The bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi comprised Justices S A Bobde, N V Ramana, U U Lalit and D Y Chandrachud.
