In Mexico, at least 53 people were killed and dozens more injured after the truck they were being transported crashed in the state of Chiapas today. According to Luis Manuel Garcia, Head of the Chiapas Civil Protection Agency, the victims included men, women, and children. He said, the nationalities of the victims have not been confirmed. However, the local officials said most of the people on board were migrants from Honduras and Guatemala. Chiapas, which neighbors Guatemala, is a major transit point for undocumented migrants.
