Assam situation improves; curfew relaxed in Guwahati & Dibrugarh

In Assam, situation is limping back to normal. Curfew has been relaxed for 7 hours in Guwahati and 6 hours in Dibrugarh municipal area today.

A large number of people thronged markets in Guwahati to buy necessary food items. However, educational institutes remain closed in Guwahati and other places.

There has been no report of any violent incident in the state during the last 36 hours. Security forces are maintaining a strict vigil across the state to avoid any untoward incident.
