All Party delegations reaching various countries to convey India’s zero tolerance stand against terrorism

The all-party Parliamentary delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha reached Seoul, South Korea, yesterday evening from Tokyo as part of India’s outreach with countries in the region on the significance of Operation Sindoor. This three day visit will strengthen ongoing efforts to further India’s principled and resolute stance of zero tolerance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestation. During the course of their visit, the delegation will engage with senior officials of South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dignitaries from the National Assembly of South Korea and senior representatives from prominent think tanks and media.The all-party delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi addressed a joint press conference at Indian Embassy in Moscow, Russia. Ms Kanimozhi strongly put forth that the Pahalgam terror attack was done by terrorists who had infiltrated Indian territory from Pakistan. She said that the terror organization that claimed responsibility for the attack was protected by Pakistan in the United Nations Security Council. She further emphasized that India responded responsibly and ensured that no civilians were affected. The DMK MP added that the delegation got a great opportunity to explain the stand of India. The delegation also interacted with Russian journalists and media personalities representing TASS, Kommersant, Vedomosti, RBC, Izvestia, RIA Novosti, RT and Sputnik, among others.The high level delegation to UAE led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde concluded their visit to the nation and has reached Congo. Before leaving, the delegation extended gratitude to the UAE leadership for their unwavering support to India in the fight against terrorism. On the other hand, the Baijayant Panda led delegation reached Bahrain. They were received by India’s Ambassador to Bahrain, who also briefed them. During their engagements, the delegation will highlight India’s stand against cross-border terrorism.

The all-party party delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor to the United States has highlighted how India responded in a precise and calibrated manner to terrorist bases, headquarters, and launchpads in Pakistan following the dastardly Pahalgam terror attack. During an interaction at the Consulate in New York, Mr Tharoor said India is not interested in warfare with Pakistan, emphasizing that the country would much rather be left alone to grow its economy and uplift its people as they prepare for the 21st-century world. Pointing out that Pakistan is a revisionist power, Mr. Tharoor said that it covets territory under India’s control and seeks to acquire it at any cost through terrorism, something that is completely unacceptable.

The delegation also visited 9/11 memorial and called on the global community to stand together in mutual solidarity and strength against the menace of terrorism. Following this visit, the delegation will also travel to Guyana, Panama, Brazil, and Colombia.Taking India’s strong message against terrorism to the world, another multi-party delegation, led by Nationalist Congress Party MP Supriya Sule, has reached Qatar. Ambassador of India to Qatar, Vipul, received the delegation members Supriya Sule, Anand Sharma, Rajeev Pratap Rudy and Anurag Thakur at the Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.The seventh delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad will leave for UK, France, Germany, EU, Italy and Denmark today.
