Home Minister Amit Shah reaches Raipur on a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh

Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Raipur on a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh. During his visit, he will participate in various programmes in the capital Raipur and Narayanpur district of the state.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone of the campus of National Forensic Sciences University and Central Forensic Science Laboratory in Raipur today. This Forensic Science University will be built in an area of about forty acres at a cost of about four hundred crore rupees.

Mr. Shah will hold a meeting with the Director General of Police and Additional Director General of Police of Chhattisgarh and neighboring states in Naya Raipur today on security related issues. In another meeting, the Union Home Minister will also review security on Left Wing Extremism.

Tomorrow, the Union Home Minister will visit the Abujhmad area of Narayanpur district of Bastar division and interact with the villagers there. Apart from this, the Union Home Minister will also visit the Border Security Force camp located in Irkbhatti area of the Narayanpur district and interact with the Jawans.
