Indian spin bowler Piyush Chawla announces retirement from all forms of Cricket

Star Indian spin bowler Piyush Chawla has officially retired from all forms of Cricket. After a 20-year professional career, Chawla made the announcement of retirement from international and domestic Cricket through his social media page.

The 36-year-old played three Tests, 25 ODIs and seven T20Is, with his last appearance for India coming back in 2012 at the T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka. Moreover, Chawla was part of the winning Indian squad during the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup and then 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. The BCCI also thanked Chawla for a memorable career in a social media post.
