President Droupadi Murmu has lauded the performance of all bands who played iconic tunes during the Beating Retreat ceremony at the historic Vijay Chowk in New Delhi yesterday, marking the culmination of the 76th Republic Day celebrations. In a social media post, the President said that all bands’ formations were impressive including battle formations of Chakra Vyuh and Makar Vyuh, along with the themes of 75 years of the Constitution and Ek Ped Maa ke Naam. The President added that this captivating display of India’s diverse culture paid tribute to the valour and sacrifice of the Armed Forces.
