Over 30 people killed in bus accident in J&K

At least 35 people have been killed and 17 injured in a bus accident in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The accident occurred this morning when a minibus rolled down a hilly road and fell into a deep gorge.

The vehicle was on its way to Kishtwar from Keshwan, when it skidded off the road near Sirgwari. Rescue operation is on.

President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and J&K Governor have expressed grief over the loss of lives in the accident. They have wished a speedy recovery of the injured.
