In the Kolkata rape and murder case, the disciplinary committee constituted by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has suspended the membership of the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Sandip Ghosh. Dr. Ghosh was the Vice President of the IMA Calcutta Branch. IMA, in its letter, said that the parents of the victim had put up their grievances against Dr. Ghosh during the meeting with IMA representation.
