BJP has attributed its massive victory in the local body polls in Gujarat to the people’s support to the new farm laws. Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, senior party leader and Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said, in these areas large numbers of rural and farmer voters are there and their support shows Centre’s reforms in the agriculture approval to the sector.
He said, Congress had raised the issue of farm laws in this election, but people voted in favour of BJP’s reform and developmental agenda. In the Elections of Zila Panchayats, BJP has won all the 31 Zila Panchayats while Congress was wiped out. The Minister said, the BJP is in power in the state for 38 years in a way and it is a wonderful miracle in politics to maintain the confidence of the people for so long.
