Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar will reach Lakshadweep today, on a three day official visit.
The Minister will attend high level meetings with Secretaries of various departments in Lakshadweep administration. Followed by this Mr.Javadekar will inaugurate the ‘Atal Paryavaran Bhawan’ under Lakshadweep Environment Department at 3 in the evening. The objective of these visits is to evaluate various innovative initiatives of the Union Territory to prevent environmental exploitation and protection of rare aquatic species.
