Odisha’s Covid-19 sample tests have crossed 4 million mark. With 40 to 50 thousand samples being tested per day, the cumulative tests so far have reached 40 lakh 1 thousand 65.
The covid-19 effective caseload of the state has further climbed down to 23786. With incremental recovery, the de-growth in the active cases has been sustaining the momentum right through the past couple of weeks. Districts like Khordha and Cuttack, which were the chief covid-19 concerns for the state, have been witnessing a surge-back in cases to the tune of one fourth of what they used to report earlier. Likewise, the number of districts now reporting cases beyond one hundred per day has also slumped to about seven now, which again is only one fourth of the total districts of the state.
