Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor who is gearing up for his upcoming film Kabir Singh, got candid in a chat show with Neha Dhupia. Sasha went on to discuss about his personal and professional life at length. According to Mumbai Mirror, during the Colors Infinity show, Kapoor was asked if he was invited to his exes wedding; to which he revealed that Priyanka Chopra Jonas had invited him at her Mumbai reception. When asked about Kareena Kapoor Khan, he said, “About Kareena, I don’t remember, it was a while ago. I don’t think I was invited.”
Furthermore, the Udta Punjab actor went on to reveal that he was was offered Rang De Basanti featuring Aamir Khan. He said, “I regret not doing the film. They wanted me to play the role of Siddharth. I’d cried while reading the script and loved it, but unfortunately couldn’t make time for it.” When quipped if there was a film he could go back in time and undo, he said it would be Shandaar starring Alia Bhatt, he said, “Even I was confused when I saw the film.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in Kabir Singh which is the Hindi remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy. The film also stars Kiara Advani and will release on June 21, 2019.
