India on top with 221 medals in South Asian Games

In 13th South Asian Games in Nepal, India is on top with 221 medals comprising 113 gold, 71 silver and 37 bronze. On the eighth day of games, India clinched 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze today.

In Squash, India bagged one gold, two silver and one bronze. In women’s singles, India won gold and silver.

In the final, Tanvi Khanna defeated Sunayana S Kuruvilla by 3-1. Tanvi bagged gold and Sunayana got silver.

In men’s individual, India’s Harinder Pal Singh lost to Tayyab Aslam of Pakistan by 1-3 in the final. Harinder won silver and Abhay Singh got bronze.

In shooting, India won 2 gold and one bronze. In men’s 10 meter air pistol team event, Shravan Kumar, Ravinder Singh and Sumit Raman clinched gold. In individual category, Shravan Kumar grabbed gold and Ravinder Singh brought bronze.
