In Uttarakhand, six pilgrims were killed and one injured this morning when a helicopter crashed near Gangnani in the Uttarkashi district. The accident occurred while the private company’s helicopter was en route from the Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun to the Kharsali helipad. A total of seven people, including the pilot, were on board. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed grief over the accident and ordered an inquiry into the incident.
