4 more Keralites die of COVID-19 in US

New York: Four more expatriates from Kerala died of coronavirus infection in the US on Tuesday.

Idukki native Puthanpurakkal Mary Koshy (80) who was under treatment for coronavirus passed away in New York.

Lalu Prathap Jose (64) from Kozhencherry in Pathanamthitta succumbed to the virus in Philadelphia on Tuesday. He was under treatment since March 16. Lalu was employed as transport controller in Metropolitan Transit Authority.

Meanwhile, Thrissur native Tennyson Payyur and Kodencherry native Paul passed away in New York and Texas respectively.

COVID-19 cases have touched nearly 4 lakhs in the US. So far, 12,748 people died of the pandemic.
