Dharshan, a 3 year old boy who is residing at Chennai has taken an extraordinary feat by earning a record in our Nation’s most pretigious “INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS”. He has been appreciated with the title as “A KID WITH KEEN OBSERVATION AND SHARP ANALYTICAL SKILLS”.
Achieving a height like this is not an easy thing. His father Mr.V.D.Premanand , a Software Engineer and his mother Mrs.K.Priyadharshini, who was an Assistant Professor has decided that their child should be guided in a best way they could make up.
His mother adds that “We have started his journey of learning when he was 8 months old. He was a baby blessed with inborn talent of observing and learning new things. Basic learning methods like colour seggregation, size analysis, texture analysis, sensory play, picture books was introduced to the child gradually. To our surprise he started enjoying learning them. Many DIY learning activities was prepared and introducted to him for his age. We then slowly introduced him to the puzzle activities. At the age of one, he was able to understand and solve an One Piece Puzzle. He always used to spare his time in solving puzzles and reading picture books rather than playing with toys.
So by the age of 2 years and 6 months, he was able to solve pair-it puzzles, shadow matching puzzle, jigsaw puzzle, button-it puzzle, number puzzle, alphabet puzzle, action word puzzle, colour matching puzzle, pattern memory puzzle, image puzzle like animals, fruits, vehicles, birds etc. Apart from these he can also solve India Map puzzle and identifies the location of each state. He can identify 15 vegetables, 14 fruits, 15 domestic animals, 12 farm animals, 8 shapes, 15 vehicles, 12 colours and letters from A to Z. He answers randomly from A for apple to Z for zebra and count till 20.
We were searching for a right platform to recognise him. Then we found “INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS” after a search of 6 months and we applied for it. Each and every proofs and validates were submitted, selection process took place via online and we got a positive result that he got selected and earned a record. We are so proud that he is a Record holder in the most prestigious “INDIA BOOK OF RECORDs”. This is just the beginning and we are still continuing our process of learning new things everyday to enrich his knowledge and to make him a successful person in future. Thank you.
