20 Keralites lost their lives outside country due to COVID-19

Thiruvananthapuram: As per reports, 20 Keralites have died outside the country due to Coronavirus infection. Most number of deaths took place in United States of America, which is one of the worst affected countries in the world.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, in his press conference on Monday, said that seven people from Kerala were reported dead from America. However, one more person died on Tuesday morning, taking the total tally to eight. Thiruvalla Muthur native Jayanthan (84) was the one who passed away.

The people who lost their lives in America on Sunday include Kottarakkara native Umman Kurian, Piravam native Eliyamma Kuriakose, Joseph Thomas and Thiruvalla native JJ Eappen.

Alencherry native Harris lost his life in Ajman on Sunday. Also Kollam native Indira and Kannur native Sinto George living in Britain also died on Sunday.

The Chief Minister read out the names and details of Keralites who lost their lives in different parts of the world due to the pandemic and expressed his condolence.
