A total of 18 crore 54 lakh Ayushman Bharat cards have been issued so far in the country. The cards have been issued under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
This was stated by the Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
The benefits under the scheme include all expenses incurred on medical examination, treatment, pre-hospitalization up to three days, medicine diagnostic and laboratory investigation, post-hospitalization follow up care up to 15 days.
