Around 44 million Microsoft accounts were discovered exploitation broken user names and passwords in a crucial security issue.
Accoeding to PC Mag reports, Microsoft’s threat analysis team scanned all accounts between January and March this year.
The software giant then compared the accounts to a information of over three billion sets of leaked credentials and found 44 million matches.
Apparently, Microsoft has forced a passwoord reset for accounts for those whose match was found.
