కేంద్ర రక్షణ మంత్రి రాజ్‌నాథ్ సింగ్ నేతృత్వంలోని పార్లమెంటరీ కమిటీలో బీజేపీ ఎంపీ ప్రజ్ఞా సింగ్ ఠాకూర్‌కు చోటు కల్పించారు. ఈ కమిటీలో మొత్తం 21 మంది ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహించనున్నారు. ప్రజ్ఞా ఠాకూర్ ప్రస్తుతం భోపాల్ నియోజకవర్గం నుంచి ఎంపీగా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వర్తిస్తున్నారు. తాజా సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల్లో కాంగ్రెస్ సీనియర్ నేత దిగ్విజయ్ సింగ్ పై ప్రజ్ఞా ఠాకూర్ విజయం సాధించారు.

రక్షణ రంగానికి చెందిన పార్లమెంటరీ కమిటీలో సాధ్వికి చోటు కల్పించడంపై కాంగ్రెస్ ట్విట్టర్‌ వేదికగా ప్రభుత్వంపై మండిపడింది. ”తీవ్రవాద కార్యకలాపాల్లో ఆరోపణలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న, గాడ్సేను పొగిడిన వ్యక్తిని పార్లమెంటు కమిటీలో నియమించడమంటే భద్రతా బలగాలను అవమానపరచడమే. అంతేకాకుండా ప్రతీ భారతీయుడ్ని అవమానించడమే” అని ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా కాంగ్రెస్ మండిపడింది.
