Its time India shows stop board to the Pakistani actors and sportsmen. The global reputation of Pakistan is all-time low under “Kaptan” Imran Khan who pitched Naya Pakistan as his poll narrative.
Pakistan is an untrustworthy neighbour and our true enemy when it comes to fighting terrorism, as they are the sole manufacturers of Terrorist factories across the LoC. “You can change friends, not neighbours” – said by former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee who lead the country during its unprecedented times during the Kargil War and the Parliament attack which subsequently prompted Operation Parakram (Indo – Pak Stand Off 2001 – 2002).
Given the nature of our relationship with Pakistan now, and in a way, the ungrateful and uncourteous actors, technicians, sportsmen across border worked here to have their ends meet, humiliate our Country and our PM ably guided by the ISPR ( Propaganda Unit of the Pakistan Army), it’s time to close our doors for them permanently. Pakistan was never our friend and can never be. One should refer to the history of wars in which Pakistan fought with us to understand that their clear motive is to “Bleed India with a Thousand Cuts”. It is imperative that inclusive Bollywood should handpick talents in India rather than giving a platform to an ungrateful neighbour. Afridi’s malicious attack on Indian PM and our Army men are a testament to the ISI’s gameplay. First, they reached out to Indian sportsmen for help, Yuvraj and Harbhajan made a generous contribution to his appeal. Then comes below the belt punches from the ISI sponsored former cricketer. Their motive is clear “Divide India”. Perhaps the Indian cricketers woke up to the insidious plot by Afridi by openly severing their contacts with him. This is not enough, as we are dealing with a nation run by the military leadership.
India’s response to Pakistan post-2014 has been hard enough for them to run pillar and post for assistance from different countries. Post Imran Khan’s victory aided by Bajwa led Pak Army, things have been different for both the countries. Particularly the whining of Pak PM on his twitter account to openly attack PM Modi and RSS for his failure to keep Army aside for diplomatic talks. It’s always Pak Military that takes the call on diplomatic relations and given the fact that Bajwa installing a puppet as the head of government, and the subsequent extension of his tenure didn’t go well among the corps commanders of Pak Army. The Army needs power, and they need a successor. Afridi’s recent tour to Pok is not a surprise, he wants to be the new Imran Khan. All he needs is the blessings of the Pak Army as they are responsible for the appointment and removal of political leadership.
Given the Pak sportsmen and actors’ propensity to take anti-India to stand after their career is over here, we should be wary of the posterity. The rhetoric that our neighbour would use is “Inclusiveness as a chance to peace”. This works well here in India as we have a separate fan base for India-Pak bilateral relations. Terror and talks cannot go together – this has been the stand of PM Modi led India ever since he assumed the office. We should understand that we are dealing with a nation that puts a rogue force as their mediator. The Army has never won a war but never lost an election.
In a nutshell, people like Afridi are handful across the border. The Pak army will unleash them with strong support from their troll army led by DGISPR. The message for fellow Indians, if you want peace talks with Pakistan find a legitimate arbitrator across the border without military influence. Employing Pakistanis in India is as good as paying for our soldiers’ cremation as the money is routed to the Pak army to create trouble in Kashmir.
