EC Issues Notice to Rahul Gandhi Over ‘Tribal Can be Shot at’ Remark

Election Commission has issued a notice to Congress President Rahul Gandhi seeking a reply within 48 hours, for allegedly violating model code of conduct by saying “Narendra Modi has made a new law in which there is a line that says tribals can be shot at”, at a rally in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh.

EC Finds No Violation in PM Modi’s Latur Speech

The Election Commission on Wednesday gave a clean chit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his speech in Maharashtra’s Latur, where he asked people to dedicate their votes for Pulwama martyrs and the Balakot airstrikes. The poll body said that there was no violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
