Bahrain : Former Norwegian Prime Minister Visited Krishna Temple

Friday, 12 April 2019 : The following guests visited the Krishna temple today along with Ms. Houda Nonoo, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Bahrain:
1. Mr. Kjell Magne Bondevik, former Norwegian Prime Minister and current Executive Chair, The Oslo Center (Peace, Democracy, Human Rights), Norway.
2. Mr. Aamir J. Sheikh, President, Foundation Dialogue for Peace, Norway, and President, 14th August Committee Norway.
3. Dr. Mohamed Elzain, Director, Norwegian Institute of Legal and Strategic Studies (NILSS), Norway.
4. Mr. Fawaz Khalil Bushait, The Director General, Minister of Cabinet Affairs Office, The Court of H.R.H. The Prime Minister, Bahrain.

They were warmly welcomed by the Executive Committee of the Temple and felicitated with Uparnas and Prasad. They also visited the Durga Pooja in THMC hall (celebrated in Eastern India) and Vishu, Kerala New Year (celebrated in Southern India) in the THMC Auditorium. They were very happy about Bahrain’s diversity, freedom, coexistence and tolerance and thanked for the hospitality.

In a separate visit, Mr. Marwan Shamrook, Senior Product Manager Orient, BigXtra Touristik GmbH, Germany (Member of the FTI Group) and his team visited the Temple along with Ms. Lunghei Riede from the German Embassy.
